Getting Back to Yoga After the Holidays: How to Overcome Challenges and Enjoy the Process | Tapas Yoga HK
Author -
Time flies - the New Year and holidays have passed! Are you ready to get back to practice?
Taking that first step back after a break isn't easy. Back in class, sometimes it feels harder than before. Students often say: "I feel like I'm starting all over again!"
After the New Year and holidays, let's get back on our yoga mats together and rediscover the joy and challenges of practice!
After completing a week-long Lunar New Year market challenge, I went for gua sha treatment and all the toxins came out - my back felt so much looser. But when I returned to practice, I found my back harder to engage, making it even more challenging than before.
Practice naturally has its ups and downs - some days you feel great, others not so much. But that's okay. What matters is persistence, commitment, and enjoying the practice. Acknowledge your efforts, appreciate your hard work, accept your limitations, and enjoy both the journey and the results.
Yoga is not just about movement - it's an inner practice of cultivation and growth.
Let's practice and enjoy it together! See you at Tapas Yoga!
