In the previous post Yoga for Weight Training (Part 1): Muscle Building and Fat Burning, we introduced three yoga poses that can help burn fat. This time, we'll introduce three yoga poses that can help build muscle.
Yoga Poses for Muscle Building
Plank: This is a classic yoga pose that can exercise the whole body, especially the core muscles. By maintaining the plank position, we can strengthen the abdominal, back, and arm muscles.
Cobra Pose: This pose can exercise the back and arm muscles. By extending the back upward, we can train the back and triceps.
Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose): This pose is similar to a push-up and can simultaneously exercise the chest, triceps, and core muscles. By controlling the body's slow descent, we can strengthen these muscles.
Yoga is not only a practice for relaxing the mind and harmonizing body and mind, but it can also be a very effective form of weight training. By choosing appropriate yoga poses, you can build muscle while burning fat to achieve your ideal physique. Let's try it together!
