First, congratulations to Hong Kong fencing athlete Edgar Cheung for defending his gold medal, Vivian Kong for winning her first gold, and Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey for winning bronze! Seeing the Hong Kong team getting stronger with each battle, staying calm even when slightly behind, and quickly regaining their form is truly admirable!

Hong Kong fencing athlete Edgar Cheung won gold again at the Paris Olympics. His perseverance and focus not only won him glory but also demonstrated to everyone the importance of persistence through adversity. In his post-match interview, Edgar shared his competition mindset: "Give your best in every match, fight for every point." This is not just his strategy for facing competitions—it's also a philosophy for life.
Edgar mentioned that although he didn't feel in his best form before the match, he maintained a positive attitude, listened to his coach's guidance, and focused on every point in the moment. This ability to view every mistake as a learning opportunity and focus on the next chance rather than dwelling on past failures is something we can all learn from.

Edgar's competition experience reminds us that no matter what challenges we face—whether on the high-pressure Olympic stage or in daily life difficulties—maintaining focus and a positive attitude are important factors for success. Similarly, in yoga practice, we learn to maintain balance and focus in various poses. Through breathing that connects body, mind, and spirit, we not only strengthen our physical power but also cultivate psychological resilience in facing life's challenges.

In yoga and in life, every breath and every movement is an opportunity to practice focus and continuous effort. As Edgar said: "Don't give up, keep persisting! Even when you encounter many setbacks, remember your original intention!" No matter what situation we're in, believe in yourself, never give up, keep working hard, and stay focused on the present.
