Tapas Fifth Anniversary

Looking back to 2018, I made a significant decision: I quit my job and traveled to yoga's birthplace, India, to deeply study and experience the essence of yoga. During that journey of returning to the roots, I not only learned various yoga techniques and philosophy, but I also gradually discovered my deep connection with yoga, making it a part of my life. This experience profoundly changed my outlook on life and career path.

Return and Entrepreneurship: From Dream to Reality

After returning, I didn't go back to the workplace. Instead, I decided to share my passion and knowledge with more like-minded people. Initially, I only occasionally rented venues to teach yoga classes.

By 2019, I mustered my courage and decided to open my own yoga studio. This was a tremendous challenge. From site selection and interior design to curriculum planning, every step was filled with challenges, sweat, and tears, yet also extremely creative and fulfilling. My intention was to create not just a place to practice yoga, but a space where yoga learners could gather, share, and grow together.

Five Years of Growth, Reflection, and the Future

Today, when I look back on the past five years, from being a yoga enthusiast to founding Tapas Yoga, I feel immense pride and gratitude. Tapas Yoga has become part of the community, witnessing the changes and growth of countless students. Every day, I find the motivation to keep moving forward in my students' progress.

As Tapas Yoga enters its sixth year, I look forward to bringing more diverse courses and activities, continuing to encourage and support our students. Yoga is a never-ending journey of learning, and so is Tapas Yoga. In the future, we will continue to provide an environment of mutual support, personal growth, and exploration, where every student can find and walk their own yoga path.
