How to Use Sliding Socks for Core Training | Tapas Yoga HK

Slide Your Way to a Stronger Core!
Slippery floor + Slippery socks = Core on fire!

- Start in elbow plank (engage core, round upper back slightly)
- Slide feet apart
- Slide feet back together
- With core engaged, slide into dolphin pose
- Hold dolphin pose with core tight as long as you can! Repeat steps 1-5
Dolphin Pose Tips:
- Press forearms firmly into the floor
- Keep elbows shoulder-width apart and hugging in
- Broaden the shoulders
- Lengthen the spine
- Engage your abs and lift your hips toward the ceiling
- Try to bring ears in line with upper arms
In dolphin pose, your heels don't need to touch the ground - this makes it easier to slide back into elbow plank. Work at your own pace, practice slowly, no rush.
