Facing Backbend Challenges: Finding Strength Through Fear | Tapas Yoga HK
Author -
Practicing backbends always feels like a confrontation with fear rather than simply practicing a pose - it takes courage. Before each practice, I feel like I need endless preparation just to ease that inner apprehension. Recently, I've noticed myself unconsciously avoiding this challenge.
As my India study trip approaches day by day, I've started seriously thinking: how can I bravely face this challenge? Fortunately, I recently co-hosted a backbend workshop with @kahin_physio. Not only did I learn a lot, but I also seem to have found the courage and methods to put it into practice!
Finding strength in backbend practice, breaking through inner fears.
This backbend workshop gave me a deeper understanding that backbends are not just a physical challenge - they also involve facing our deepest fears. Every improvement in backbends is part of our inner growth.
