On Saturday, July 6, 2024, the Yuen Long studio will host an Ashtanga LED class and conference.
The two-hour class includes the following key segments:
The teacher and students will perform chanting (mantra). Even if you're unfamiliar with it, don't worry - the teacher will lead the chant.
Follow the teacher's breath cues and perform the asana practice. This part is similar to the regular Ashtanga Yoga basic class, but the cues will be in Sanskrit, with fewer posture adjustments, focusing on the coordination of breath with the details of each pose.
Conference portion: After the LED class, the teacher will share yoga knowledge to help everyone further understand the theory and practice of yoga.
