Inspiration refers to those "aha" moments in yoga practice — perhaps a teacher's words suddenly unlock a pose that's troubled you for months, an insight about a life problem during meditation, or watching another practitioner's story that reignites your passion for practice.
Inspiration doesn't only come from mat practice. It may come from a book, a conversation, or a moment in nature. When we stay aware and open, all of life can become a source of yoga wisdom. Many practitioners find that yoga makes them more sensitive to life experiences, making it easier to gain inspiration from them.
When you receive inspiration, write it down. These flash moments are easily forgotten, yet they often contain important wisdom. Sharing your inspirations can also help other practitioners — we're all on this path learning from and illuminating each other.
