Using a Yoga Wheel for Full Camel: Enhancing Flexibility and Stress Relief Techniques | Tapas Yoga HK
Author -
Today I want to share with you how to use a yoga wheel to help us better perform Full Camel, this classic deep backbend stretch.
1. Opening the Shoulders and Improving Flexibility:
- Place the yoga wheel behind your back and gently roll it up and down. This helps relax the shoulder and back muscles and increases the range of joint movement.
- This can help us enter Full Camel, allowing our hands to gradually touch our feet.
2. Reducing Pressure:
- At the deepest point of Full Camel, the yoga wheel can help distribute pressure on the cervical spine and back.
- It helps support body weight and relax tense muscles, allowing us to stay more comfortably in this deep backbend pose.
Everyone is welcome to try incorporating these techniques into your Full Camel practice! Using a yoga wheel is especially suitable for friends who have tightness in the neck and shoulders, or discomfort in the lower back.
In addition to improving your form, practicing with a yoga wheel can also help relieve back and neck pain. Feel the effect of your shoulders becoming more mobile!
