Simple Moves to Fire Up Your Core!
- Keep your back pressed firmly against the yoga mat, hands at your sides, palms pressing down.
- Raise both legs to 90 degrees, keeping them together (L-shaped crunch).
- Engage your abs, slowly lower your legs, then slowly raise them back up.
- When your feet are close to the ground, hold!
Note:
- Your feet should stay off the ground at all times!
- The slower you lower your legs, the more your core works!
Special Reminder:
- During practice, avoid using your lower back - use your abdominal strength to stabilize your body as you slowly lower your legs.
- If your lower back feels sore, stop and rest!
